A large number of people both young and old suffer from problems such as anxiety, stress, depression, fatigue and high blood pressure. We can be free from these symptoms through mind body awareness. The way to access this freedom is through self-awareness and meditation. Our true nature is perfect and free, we just need to realise this and experience it for ourselves. Our essential nature is pure consciousness and meditation is the way to access this state of being.
The breath is the meeting place for the body, mind and spirit. Through meditation, we relax more and find inner peace. Meditation can also help in the process of reversing mental illness. Meditation brings out the happiness within, introduces positive feelings, lets us feel more at peace with who we are and allows us to face the world more clearly.
20 minutes of meditation is the equivalent to two hours deep sleep where we transcend the level of thought. It brings us into the gap between our thoughts, it stills the mind to the extent that we are fully relaxed yet fully alert to our surroundings. All happiness and unhappiness is through thought form. When we control our mind we control our state of happiness and well-being.
It is not possible to be anxious, stressed, agitated, or unhappy if our minds are calm. The journey to this calm mind is through meditation. Medical practitioners agree that people should meditate not medicate, which will complement mainstream medicine and provide us with a balanced life form that allows us become more connected to our bodies and their needs.

Meditation is a simple technique to bring the body and mind to stillness and to relinquish all thoughts. It is the path to good health in mind and body and to well-being for everyone.

Breath of Life Meditation workshop is a one to one session over a 3 days period, where the practitioner will be introduced to the different forms of meditation and will be encouraged to select the type best suited to him/her to practice. The practice is very simple and if continued will have a profound effect on your life for the reasons mentioned above.
